Jarek Wujkowski - I was raised with a rod in hand growing up in northern Wisconsin’s Vilas County. For as long as I can remember I have had an obscene obsession with angling and pursuing freshwater giants. This passion has led to me to spend every bit of my years traveling to pursue the next trophy and eventually settling on Lake Vermilion, the bay of Green Bay and everywhere in between. I’ve experienced every water body type imaginable to hone in my angling skills. From Sturgeon Bay to Lake Superior, various shield lakes, the Columbia River, Northern Saskatchewan has groomed me into a well-rounded multi-species angler that is ready to take on any challenge a body of water presents.
Fishability is one of the most crucial components to day in and day out success on the water. Having a boat that can handle any angling situation you throw at it is crucial to daily success. Fishing on Lake Vermilion with Rodsbent Guide Service means you will be guided from one of the most versatile boats on the market, a Alumacraft 185 Competitor Limited powered by a 90 Yamaha tiller. Having cutting edge electronics is crucial, Using the newest sonar technologies from Humminbird puts us at an unforeseeable advantage on the water. All of this coupled with a Minnkota Terrova, iPilot, and Talon, St Croix & G-Loomis rods paired with Shimano reels allows me to implement any angling technique imaginable to help ensure a successful day on the water. Jarek and all affiliated captains are fully insured and CPR/AED certified.
My mandate is to put anyone in my boat in the best position to: educate them on how to successfully locate, catch, and properly release fish, create positive memories that will last a lifetime, and ensure every trip spent with Rodsbent Guide Service is a success, one way or another.
